FRANCIS SAUERWALD

  Francis Sauerwald, aged 77 years, 10 months and 29 days, died December 8th at 
the home of his daughter, Mrs. Adam Richter.  He had been ill the past year.  He 
spent most of his life near York, Pa., until the death of his wife six years 
ago, when he made his home with his daughters, Mrs. F. E. Spoerlein and Mrs. 
Adam Richter.  Three daughters, nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild 
survive.  Funeral services were held in the Lutheran Church at Glen Rock, Pa., 
Friday at 10 a.m., with interment in the Hamestown Cemetery.  Harry Geiper of 
Glen Rock was the undertaker in charge.
