Born in Friendsville, he was a son of the late Edward Savage and Alice (Van Sickle) Savage. He was a member of the United Methodist Church. He was a veteran of World War II and was a carpenter by trade. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Dorothy (Harding) Savage; a son, Ronald Savage, and a daughter, Miss Iszetta Savage, both of Baltimore, Maryland; two brothers, Kenneth Savage, of Friendsville and Glenn Savage, of Cumberland; four sisters, Mrs. Leona Bittner, Buffalo, N.Y.; Mrs. Velva (Peg) Cable, Dayton, Ohio; Mrs. Berdena Wagner and Mrs. Ina Selby, both of Friendsville. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home where services were conducted with the Rev. Donald Matthews officiating. Interment was in Blooming Rose Cemetery, Friendsville.
