  SAXMAN
  
    Irene W. Saxman, 82, Allentown, died Sept. 20, 1997, in
  Allentown.  Born in Somerset County, daughter of the late Daniel
  Walker and Ada (Wegley) Walker Bowman.  Widow of the late Edwin F.
  Saxman.  Surviving are sons, Peter M. Sr., Slatington; Edwin F.,
  Greensboro, N.C., and William, Sharpsburg, Md.; daughter, Rene Munoz,
  Boulder, Colo.; sister, Mildred B. Struby, Montgomery, Ala.; 7
  grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.  Member of St. Francis in
  the Fields Episcopal Church, Somerset, and was a former member of the
  Daughters of the American Revolution.  Service will be at 1 p.m.
  Tuesday in the St. Francis in the Fields Episcopal Church. 
  Interment, Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Brotherton. 
  Contributions may be made to the church.  Arrangements by Stephens
  Funeral Home, Allentown.
