Sayers, 80 of East Main Street, Somerset, died Dec. 20, 1981, at his residence. Born May 12, 1901, in Somerset Township, a son of the late Frank and Elizabeth (Maust) Sayers. Also preceded in death by foster parents, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Maust; a brother, Park, and a half-sister, Mrs. Minnie Platt. Survived by wife, the former Sara S. Manges; and these children: Leroy, married to June Beeghly, of Smyrna, Del.; Marjorie, married to John E. Shaffer, Somerset RD 2; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Brother of Harry of Canton, Ohio; and Mrs. Olive Pyle, Acosta. Member of Somerset Church of Brethren. He was a retired realtor and insurance agent. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Monday and 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Richard E. Haugher Funeral Home, where services will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev.
