  SAYERS
  
  Thomas W. Sayers, 80 of East Main Street, Somerset, died Dec. 20,
  1981, at his residence.  Born May 12, 1901, in Somerset Township, a
  son of the late Frank and Elizabeth (Maust) Sayers.  Also preceded in
  death by foster parents, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Maust; a brother, Park,
  and a half-sister, Mrs. Minnie Platt.  Survived by wife, the former
  Sara S. Manges; and these children:  Leroy, married to June Beeghly,
  of Smyrna, Del.; Marjorie, married to John E. Shaffer, Somerset RD 2;
  three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.  Brother of Harry
  of Canton, Ohio; and Mrs. Olive Pyle, Acosta.  Member of Somerset
  Church of Brethren.  He was a retired realtor and insurance agent. 
  Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Monday and 2-4 p.m. and 7-9
  p.m. Tuesday at the Richard E. Haugher Funeral Home, where services
  will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Roger Forry and
  John Hiton, minister, officiating.  Interment, Somerset County
  Memorial Park.
