Glenn Sayler, 82, of Somerset died July 13, 1993, at his residence. Born Aug. 12, 1910, in Somerset Township, the son of the late John Calvin and Hattie Mabel (Barron) Sayler. Preceded in death by two brothers, Roy E. Sayler and Cloyd B. Sayler. Survived by his wife, the former Pauline E. Hillegas, and daughters: Mrs. Peggy Davis of Somerset and Mrs. Harold N. (Susan) Noss of Friedens R.D. 2, and four grandchildren: Gregory and Beth Davis; Chad and Kristen Noss. Brother of Mrs. William E. (Ruth) Glessner of Berlin R.D. 1, Mrs. Charles E. (Pauline) Berkey of Somerset R.D. 3, Mrs. William L. (Ethel) Kimmel of Somerset and Freda A. Sayler of Somerset R.D. 4. Member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ. Retired equipment supervisor of Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission. Veteran of U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, World War II. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, the Rev. Jay E. Shaffer officiating.
