Saylor, 65, Somerset RD 5, died April 2, 1985, in Memorial Hospital, Johnstown. Born March 3, 1919, in Somerset County, son of the late Charles E. and Margaret (Meyers) Saylor. Survived by his wife, the former Shirley Vought; and three children: Ricky H., Roger L. and Mary Ann, all at home. Brother of: Mrs. Howard (Mary Ellen) Brant and Edna Mae Saylor, both of Somerset RD 5; Dolly Richardson, Plainfield, N.J.; and Forrest, Somerset. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church; veteran of World War II; served overseas with 38th Infantry Division; member of Somerset Post 554, VFW; was a self-employed painter. Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday (today) in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where services will be conducted Thursday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Charles J. Hartbauer officiating.
