  Elsie M. Saylor, 89, Maple Mountain Manor, Berlin, formerly of
  Somerset, died Nov. 26, 1985, at the manor.  Born Feb. 25, 1896, in
  Jenners Crossroads, a daughter of the late George Parker and Clara
  (Keller) Hoffman.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Charles
  Saylor; seven brothers and one sister.  She is survived by a
  daughter, Mrs. Mildred (Dolly) Birkhimer, Windber; three
  grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.  She was a member of the
  First Christian Church, Somerset.  She and her husband operated
  Somerset Paint Supply for many years.  She is the last surviving
  member of her immediate family.  Friends will be received 5-9 p.m.
  Thursday in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where service will be
  conducted Friday at 1 p.m.  Interment, Jennerstown Lutheran Cemetery.
