Saylor Sr., 72, Berlin, died July 30, 1995, at Somerset Hospital. Born April 1, 1923, in Mance, son of Jerry and Ardella L. (Benning) Saylor. Preceded in death by parents; grandson, Michael Ryan Brant. Survived by wife of 49 years, Julia (Dietle) Saylor, and these children: Irving Jr., married to the former Debra Weyant, Central City RD 1; Mrs. Frank (Linda Diane) Shirley, Ashboro, N.C.; and Donna Jean and fiance, Richard Dunmeyer, Berlin; grandchildren: Chad and Adam Shirley and Matthew Saylor. World War II Army veteran; served in Battle of the Bulge. Secretary of Larimer Township for many Years. Retired dairy farmer. Member of Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church, where he served as secretary of church council. Family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin. Viewing also from 10 a.m. to time of service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church, Rev. Charles L. Lady. Interment, Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Mt.
