Born Aug. 30, 1904, Rockwood. Son of Edward D. and Lucy Elizabeth (Faith) Saylor. Preceded in death by parents; a sister, Nell F. Brown. Survived by wife, the former Virginia Pauline Swartz, to whom he was married for 63 years, and a daughter, Mrs. James E. (Glenda) Sabin, Cherry Hill, N.J.; grandchildren: Mrs. Jill Casey, Cherry Hill, N.J., and Jonathan Sabin, Kuwait, and great grandchildren Laura and John Casey, and Frank, Jennifer and Daniel Sabin. Attended Somerset Church of the Brethren. 1924 graduate of Somerset High School. Retired car mechanic for the B&O Railroad with 43 years service. Member of Brotherhood of Railroad Carmen of America. Memorial service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, at Somerset, with the Rev. Roger L. Forry, officiating. Interment, Bakersville Cemetery.
