LAURA SAYLOR

  Mrs. Laura Saylor of Akron, Ohio, died at her home there on Tuesday, January 
2, after an illness of about a year.  She was born in Bedford County, August 24, 
1886, the daughter of John B. and Edna (Kegg) Speicher.  She is survived by 
seven children, Mabel, wife of W. P. Weider, Akron, O.; Prudence, wife of 
Charles Colgrove, Portage Lake, O.; and Roff, Howard, John, Edna and Kathryn of 
Akron, O.  Also surviving are two brothers and one sister: Howard Speicher of 
Meyersdale, John Speicher of Johnstown and Mrs. Mary Meyers of Rockwood.
  The body was brought from Akron to the Johnson and Son Funeral Home in Berlin 
where it may be viewed until Friday afternoon.  Funeral services will be held at 
2 o'clock, Friday afternoon at the Reformed Church at New Buena Vista, Pa., and 
interment will be made in the Shellsburg Cemetery in Bedford County.
