Saylor, 72, of 535 Katherine St., New Wilmington, died Oct. 25, 1978 at the Overlook Medical Center in New Wilmington after a short illness. Born In Ligonier Township, Westmoreland County, Sept. 5, 1906, she was the daughter of Lemon and Bertha (Ulery) Carns. Survived by her husband, Charles F. Saylor, two daughters: Mrs. Robert (Anna) Williams, Pittsburgh; and Mrs. Mark (Mary Alice) Heidmann, North Haven, Conn.; and one son: Charles C. Saylor, Webster, N.Y.; and seven grandchildren. Also survived by two brothers: Fred and Lloyd Carns, both of Ligonier, and one sister, Mrs. Catherine Halverson of Somerset. Preceded in death by six brothers and one sister. She was a member of the New Wilmington United Presbyterian Church. Friends are being received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the E. Gailey Sharp Funeral Home, New Wilmington, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Arthur W. Nelson officiating. Interment, Fair Oak Cemetery, New Wilmington.
