   Owen W. Saylor, 89, St. John's Specialty Care Center, Mars, formerly of Jennerstown,
  died March 24, 2008, in the center. Born Oct. 2, 1918, in Jenner Township, the son of
  Fred E. and Laura (Speicher) Saylor. Preceded in death by parents; wives, the former Mary
  Louise Trexel and the former Dorothy (Beam) Prokop; infant son, Dean Marlin Saylor; son,
  James F. Saylor; sister, Evelyn Spory; and brother, Duane Saylor. Survived by children,
  Dale Saylor, married to the former Mary Lu Clark, Spartanburg, S.C.; Mark Saylor, married
  to the former Patricia Hoover, St. George, Utah; Karen M. (Saylor), married to David
  Johnson, Jenner Township; the Rev. David R. Saylor, married to former Carol Warrick,
  Evans City; Kathy (Saylor), married to Rick McCleary, and Stephanie Saylor, both of
  Chambersburg; 19 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several stepchildren. Also
  survived by sisters, Thelma Neatrour, St. Petersburg, Fla.; Lucille Berkey, Jennerstown;
  and Genevieve "Jean" Friedline, Indiana; daughter-in-law, Robin Bowman, widow of James F.
  Saylor, Jenners; sister-in-law, Shirley Saylor, Newport News, Va., and former wife,
  Patricia (Beahr) Wilhelm, Chambersburg. A 1937 graduate of the former Boswell High School
  and a disabled U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Retired employee of Hiram G. Andrews
  Rehabilitation Center with 23 years of service. Member of Laurel Trinity Evangelical
  Lutheran Church, Jennerstown and a lifetime member of Meyersdale Chapter 127, DAV and
  Berlin Post 7295, VFW. Enjoyed wood-working, painting, fishing and gardening. Viewing
  from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 227
  Allegheny Street, Boswell. Viewing also from 10 a.m. until time of service 11 a.m.
  Saturday at Laurel Trinity Church. The Rev. Jacquelyn S. Ahern, officiating. Interment
  Mt. Zion Cemetery with military rites by the Somerset County Honor Guard. Donations in
