Saylor, aged 52 years, died in the Hazel McGilvery Hospital at 5:40 a.m., today (Thursday), May 28, following an illness of several months. Mr. Saylor, who has been in the service of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company as an engineer for 33 years, was born in Somerset County on November 6, 1889, a son of Howard and the late Catherine (Bittner) Saylor. He was a member of the local Zion Lutheran Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ida (Belcher) Saylor; one daughter, Mrs. Karl Wahl, Cumberland, Md.; one brother, Lee Saylor, Olinger Street, Meyersale; and one sister, Viola Saylor, Meyersdale. One grandson also survives. Services will be conducted at the Saylor home, 118 Olinger Street, on Sunday afternoon, May 31, at 2:30 p.m. Interment will be made in Union Cemetery, under the direction of H. R.
