  SAYLOR, Ruth M.  11/17/07   Daily American
  
    Ruth M. Saylor, 84, New Lexington, passed on Nov. 15, 2007, at The Patriot. Born Sept.
  26, 1923, in Stonycreek Township, she is the daughter of the late LeRoy and Mabel (Gohn)
  Spangler. She is also preceded in death by her Brother, Ray Spangler. She is survived
  by  her husband of 63 years, Kenneth 'Bud' Saylor, sons, Clair and wife,  Alana, Larry
  and wife, Joyce, and Jim and wife, Kelley, all of New Lexington; grandchildren, Tammie
  Basala and husband, Phillip, Michael Saylor, Jennifer Roberts and husband, Shawn, Dreu 
  Saylor and wife, Heather, Jill Saylor, Hollie Strosnider and husband, Jeff, Susan Saylor,
  and Carrie Saylor, seven great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Urban, Friedens; brother,
  James Spangler and wife, Sally, Somerset, and sister-in-law, Gladys Spangler, Somerset.
  Ruth was a Licensed Practical Nurse who worked at Somerset Hospital and also in private
  duty. She was the longtime plant nurse for Coleman Co. in Somerset. She was a federal
  poultry inspector and was a longtime farmer with her husband and family  Middlecreek
  Township. She was a member of the New Centerville & Rural Firemen's Auxiliary and was
  active in the New Centerville Farmers' and Threshermen's Jubilee. She was a sixth degree
  member of the Kingwood Grange and a member of the Rockwood Church of the Brethren.  She
  was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to
  9 p.m. Saturday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset, where a service will be held 2 p.m.
  Sunday. The Rev. Jay Christner officiating. Interment at Middlecreek Cemetery. Memorial
  contributions may be sent to the New Centerville & Rural Volunteer Fire Co. at 3054
