SAYLOR Mrs. Savilla M. (Crosby) Saylor, aged 78 years, was found dead at her home at 612 High Street, at 4:45 on Tuesday afternoon. She was attending to her household chores, and is believed to have succumbed to a stroke about 2:30 o'clock. She was the widow of Albert Saylor, who died in 1908. Mrs. Saylor was born on May 31, 1867, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Crosby. Surviving are four children - Walter C., Larimer Twp.; Oscar H., Akron, O.; Loyal, at home, and Mrs. Benjamin F. Sperry, Meyersdale. She was a sister of Milton Crosby, Meyersdale, and Miles and Harold Crosby, Glencoe. Surviving also are 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Saylor residence, with Rev. Nelson C. Brown, pastor of the Amity Evangelical and Reformed Church, officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery under the direction of W. C. Price & Son Funeral Home. Meyersdale Republican, September 6, 1945
