    Violet May Saylor, 73, Cumberland, Md., formerly of Meyersdale and
  Garrett, died April 22, 1989, at her home.  Born Oct. 1, 1915, in
  Summit Township, daughter of the late Edward and Alice M. (Thompson)
  Sheeler.  Also preceded in death by husband, Joseph M.  Survived by
  these children: Mrs. Kathleen Grace Shockey, Cumberland; Edward N.,
  North Olmstead, Ohio; and Joseph J., Newport News, Va.; 8
  grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.  A sister of Mrs. Irene
  Gerhart, Garrett, and Mrs. Zola Scheff, Sebring, Fla.  Member of
  United Pentecostal Church, Cumberland.  Friends will be received 7-9
  p.m. Monday, and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Price Funeral Home,
  Meyersdale, where service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday,
  Pastor Larry B. Stewart officiating.  Interment, Union Cemetery.
