Born Feb. 26, 1908, in Brothersvalley Township, daughter of William and Lucinda (Ringer) Butler. Preceded in death by parents; first husband, George Poorbaugh Sr.; second husband, Harry Cook; sister, Etta Ferner; brother Roy Butler, and a great-granddaughter. Survived by husband, Roy Saylor; these children: former Jennie Marker, Garrett RD 1; Mrs. Ray (Thelma) Lafferty, Bedford; Ray Poorbaugh, married to former Cecilia Hall, Berkeley Springs, W. Va., and Mrs. Gordon (Ada) Ries of Baden; 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren. Also stepdaughter, Mrs. Darrell (Dorothy) Yutzy, Somerset. Sister of Paul Butler, Meyersdale RD 4, and Mabel Pyle, Somerset. Member of Meyersdale Church of the Brethren. Former member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Berlin. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral home, Berlin, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Rev. Mike Swick. Interment, Berlin IOOF Cemetery.
