Saylor, 72, of 136 Ormond Street, Frostburg, Md., died Friday, June 16, 1989, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md. Born Dec. 9, 1916, in Meyersdale, he was the son of the late Charles and Lydia (Imhoff) Saylor. He was a retired Allegany County teacher; was a member of Frostburg Lodge 470, B.P.O. Elks; Farrady Post 24, American Legion; the Allegany County Retired Teacher's Association and the Maryland Retired Teachers' Association. Surviving are his widow, Winifred (Davis) Saylor; one brother, Thomas Saylor, Meyersdale; one sister, Emaline Suder, Fort Wayne, Ind.; and a number of nieces and nephews. The body was donated to the Anatomy Board of Maryland and the Maryland Eye Bank. There will be no service. Memorials may be directed to the charity of the donors choice.
