  SCARLETT
  
    Earl L. "Pinhead" Scarlett, 70, of Confluence, died Dec. 19, 1988,
  in Somerset Community Hospital.  He was born July 18, 1918, in
  Stewart Township, Fayette County, a son of the late Edward and Sarah
  Margaret (stark) Scarlett.  Surviving are his wife, Louise (Rugg)
  Scarlett; and the following children: Shirley Rodahaver of Addison;
  Bernard of Ursina; Freda, at home; Peggy Swope of Saxon; Leo of
  Berlin; Cheryll Larson of Bovard; Carl of Normalville; and Sam of
  Germany; also, 17 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  A
  brother, Dewey Scarlett of Canton, Ohio; and a sister, Inez Treacher
  of Uniontown.  Friends will be received from 2:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. 
  Tuesday at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where services will
  be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Gregory Deans
  officiating.  Interment, Hickman Chapel Cemetery.
