  SCARLETT
  
    Pauline (Hoover) Scarlett, 51, of Somerset, died Aug. 5, 2000 at
  Select Specialty Hospital in Johnstown.  Born Feb. 10, 1949 in
  Frostburg, Md., daughter of the late Herbert C. and Virgie M.
  (Bittinger) Hoover.  Survived by two sons, Jason and Joshua; one
  brother, Herbert Hoover, Cincinnati, Ohio; and one sister Shirley
  Newman of Fairhope.  Friends will be received 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  Tuesday at Newman Funeral Homes, PA, Grantsville, Md., where services
  will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday with Rev. Paul H. Yoder and Rev.
  Earl Pritts officiating.  Interment will be at the Emmanuel Cemetery.
