"Peg" Scell, 58, of Salisbury, died Nov. 14, 1978 in Meyersdale Community Hospital. Born December 9, 1919, in Listonburg, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Martha (Smith) Lininger. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Scell. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Salisbury. She is survived by two sons, Clyde E. Scell, New Haven, Conn., and John H. Scell, California; three daughters, Mrs. Hazel Adams, Columbia, S.C.; Anna Patricia, California, and Mrs. Barbara Saylor, Rockwood; a brother, George L. Lininger, Rocky River, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Boden, Salisbury and Mrs. Mary Louise Hutzell, Fairhope; two half-brothers, James E. Eisentrout, Salisbury and William L. Eisentrout, address unknown; a half-sister, Mrs. Vida Mae Livengood, Ravenna, Ohio; nine grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. Friends were received at the Thomas Funeral Home where services were conducted by the Rev. Ernest Rumbaugh. Interment, Salisbury Cemetery. The Republic, November 23, 1978 [S0357]
