  MARY ELIZABETH SCHARDT
  
    Mary Elizabeth Schardt, 66, died May 10, 1984, at Memorial
  Hospital, York, Pennsylvania.
    She was born September 8, 1917, in Meyersdale, the daughter of the
  late Richard V. and Mamie E. (Brown) Breig.
    She is survived by her husband, Robert Thomas Schardt, whom she
  married December 25, 1938 at Sts. Phillip & James Catholic Church by
  Father Miller.  Also survived by two children, Mrs. Mary E. Whayland,
  of Harrisburg and Robert T. Schardt, of York and two grandsons.
    She was a sister of Mrs. Daniel (Helen) Arnold; Mrs. Wendell
  (Alice) White; Mrs. John (Doris) Lesh, all of York; Mrs. Burton
  (Gertrude) Baker, of Berlin; Paul Breig, of Somerset and Francis
  Breig, of N. Huntingdon.
    She was a member of Saint Joseph's Church, of York.
    Friends were received at the Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale. 
  Services were conducted May 14, at Sts. Phillip & James Catholic
  Church, with the Rev. J. Clark George officiating.  Interment, Church
  Cemetery.
