  ANNE M. SCHEFFEL
  
    Mrs. Anne M. Scheffel, 78, Grantsville RD 1, died July 7, 1978, at
  her home.
    Born in Grantsville, Md., she was a daughter of the late Jonas B.
  and Barbara (Swartzentruber) Miller.  Her first husband, Arthur
  Eichhorn preceded her in death.
    She was a member of the Maple Glen Conservative Mennonite Church. 
  Surviving are her husband, Lee H. Scheffel; six sons, Alvin Eichhorn,
  Frostburg, Md.; Clarence Scheffel, McVeytown; Jonas and Paul Scheffel,
  Somerset; David Scheffel, New Providence; John Scheffel, Adamstown;
  three daughters, Mrs. Sarah Mast, Grantsville, Md.; Mrs. Vera
  Beitzel, Salisbury; Mrs. Catherine King, Cochranville; a brother,
  Ivan J. Miller, Grantsville, Md.; four sisters, Mrs. Alma Maust, Mrs.
  Edna Maust, Meyersdale; Miss Catharine J. Miller, Mrs. Rhoda Maust,
  Grantsville, Md.; 39 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home.
    A service was conducted at the Maple Glen Church July 10 with the
  Rev. Elmer H. Maust officiating.  Interment in the church cemetery.
