    Donald Joseph Scheidinger, 76, Somerset, died May 16, 2006, at Somerset Hospital. Born
  July 19, 1929, in Johnstown, he is the son of the late Joseph and Hazel (Meese)
  Scheidinger. Survived by his wife, Shirley Louise (Smith) Scheidinger, to whom he was
  married 54 years; daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Donna J.) Flickinger, Somerset; and Mrs. Terry
  (Barbara A.) Hewett, Bolton, Mass.; grandchildren; Christopher and Wendy Baker and
  Campbell and Emma Hewett; and one great-granddaughter, Mae Elizabeth Knight. Member of
  St. Paul's Presbyterian Church and American Legion Post 181, past president of Somerset
  Jaycees. Served in the Army during the Korean War. A 1952 graduate of the University of
  Pittsburgh with a BBA and member of Phi Delta Theta. Retired employee of the DeVilbiss
  Co. having worked for 33 years as a controller. A memorial service will be heId at St.
  Paul's Presbyterian Church at a later date. Interment will be private. Contributions may
  be. made to St. Paul's Presbyterian Church Building Fund, 132 E. Union St., Somerset, PA
  15501. Arrangements under the direction of Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home.
