  HERMAN W. SCHILLING
  
    Herman W. Schilling, 80, Somerset RD 5, died Jan. 18, 1982, in
  Latrobe Hospital.
    He was born Oct. 28, 1901, in Somerset Township, son of John and
  Daryl (Shaffer) Schilling.  He was preceded in death by four
  brothers.  
    He is survived by widow, the former Margaret Fluck; daughters, Mrs.
  Roy (Evelyn) Bittner, Bedford, Ohio; Mrs. Betty Lewis, Somerset RD 2;
  Mrs. Alda Dunmyer, Rockwood RD 1; sons: Herman D., Friedens RD 2;
  Leo, Somerset RD 5; Donald, Somerset RD 3; stepson, Edward Lincoln of
  Bellflower, Calif.; 28 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren.  He was
  a member of First Christian Church, Somerset, F.O.E. and UMWA.
    Friends were received at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home. 
  Funeral services will be Thursday, 1:30 p.m.  In absence of his
  minister, the Rev. John Cox will officiate.  Interment, Somerset
  County Memorial Park.
