   Henry Adam Schlickerman, 96, Somerset, died Sept. 25, 2008, at The Patriot. Born March
  29, 1912, in Somerset, son of Hiram Louis and Catherine Mae (Zerfoss) Schlickerman.
  Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Harold, Richard and George Schlickerman; and
  sisters, Caroline Schlickerman, Louise Flickinger, Lottie Emert and Ellen Walbush.
  Survived by wife, the former Sara Ellen Lohr, to whom he was married 72 years; daughters,
  Patricia Chapple, Somerset; Mrs. David (Amy) DiPasquale, Bedford; grandchildren, Ben
  Chapple and wife, Sharon, Dallas; Todd Chapple and wife, Kathleen, Denver; Andrew
  DiPasquale, Owings Mills, Md.; and Sarah DiPasquale, Pittsburgh; great-grandchildren,
  Caitlin, Bennett, Henry, Hannah, William and Oliver Chapple. Henry grew up close to the
  Somerset Country Club where he was a caddy in his youth later became an avid golfer and
  the Club Champion.  He worked until his retirement as a certified life agent for United
  Insurance Company of American, also a life long fisherman and member of Laurel Ridge
  Sportsmans Association, also a member of Grace United Methodist Church. Friends received
  2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where a service will be
  conducted 10 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Eric Raygor and the Rev. Charles Olson officiating.
