Schlosnagle, 71, of South Park Avenue, Somerset, died May 28, 1987, at Somerset Community Hospital. He was born Nov. 16, 1915, in Brothersvalley Township, a son of the late George W. and Martha (Kretchman) Schlosnagle. Also preceded by a brother Ray. Survived by his wife, the former Nina M. Maust and these children: Larry E. of Cheswick, Pa.; Mrs. Roland (Marie) Kauffman, Silver Spring, Md.; three grandchildren, David Schlosnagle and Michael and Evie Kauffman. Brother of Ralph, Somerset RD 3; Mrs. Nyal (Edna) Walker of Berlin; Mrs. Harold (Annie) Gray, Washington, Mich.; Paul, New Port Richey, Fla.; Mrs. Harold (Iva) Young, Somerset RD 1; and Mrs. Keith (Bertha) Boice, Grant Ledge, Mich. Retired inspector for the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission; World War II veteran, U.S. Army Air Corps, Ninth Air Corps. Member of Somerset Church of the Brethren, VFW Post 554 and a director of the Laurel Ridge Sportsman Association. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where service will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m., the Rev. Roger L. Forry officiating.
