Born May 16, 1919, in Somerset, daughter of the late Harry Franklin and Lucy Ellen (Darr) Maust. Preceded in death by husband, Lloyd Edward Schlosnagle, May 28, 1987; two brothers, Guy and Park Maust; and two sisters, Neva Miller and Margaret Nair. Survived by these children: Larry E. Schlosnagle, married to the former Janet Callen of Cheswick RD 1, and Mrs. Roland R. (Marie) Kauffman, Silver Spring, Md.; also three grandchildren, David Schlosnagle of Cheswick Rd 1; Michael Kauffman of Germantown, Md.; and Mrs. John D. (Evie) Tousignant of Coventry, R.I. Sister of Norman L. Maust of Somerset; Mrs. Donald (Ethel) Johnson of Somerset RD 2, and Mrs. Hazel Airesman of Somerset RD 3. Retired in 1978 as a teacher's aide from Patriot Street and Friedens Elementary schools. Formerly employed in Somerset County recorder of deeds office. A 1937 graduate of Somerset High School. Member of the Somerset Church of the Brethren and Somerset Homemakers. She had been a volunteer at the Somerset Hospital. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday (today) at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, with Rev. Roger L. Forry officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
