  SCHLOSNAGLE
  
    Ralph Henry Schlosnagle, 92, of Coxes Creek Rd., Somerset, died
  Dec. 22, 1997, at Somerset Hospital, Somerset.  Born April 2, 1905,
  in Salisbury, Elk Lick Township.  Son of George William and Martha
  (Kretchman) Schlosnagle.  Preceded in death by parents; wife, the
  former Elsie Rae Pritts, who died July 13, 1991, and brothers Ray A.
  and Lloyd E. Schlosnagle.  Survived by children, Donald W.
  Schlosnagle, married to the former Marjorie Saler, and Mrs. Beryl
  Elaine Shawley, both of Somerset; grandchildren: Mrs. Jerry "Buck"
  (Arlene) DeWitt and Thomas A. Shawley, both of Somerset; Mrs. Curtis
  (Peggy) Smith of Pittsburgh, Donald W. Schlosnagle Jr. of Somerset;
  great grandchildren: Jennifer and Melissa DeWitt, Aimee and Aaron
  Shawley, Jason, Andre, Natasha, Joshua Smith, Amanda and Amber
  Schlosnagle.  Brother of Mrs. Edna Walker of Somerset; Mrs. Annie
  Gray of Washington Mich.; Paul H. Schlosnagle of New Port Richey,
  Fla., Mrs. Harold (Iva) Young of Somerset, Mrs. Keith (Bertha) Boice
  of Grand Ledge, Mich.  Member of Samuel's Lutheran Church.  Borough
  engineer for Somerset Borough, retiring in 1972.  1923 graduate of
  Berlin Brothersvalley High School.  Friends received from 2 to 4 and
  7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where services
  will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, with the Rev. John J. Palko
  and Rev. Roger L. Forry officiating.  Interment, Somerset County
  Memorial Park.  Contributions may be made to Somerset "In Touch"
  Hospice, 651 S. Center Ave., Somerset, Pa. 15501 or Samuel's Lutheran
  Church, 134 Bridge St., Rockwood, Pa. 15557.
