  MARGARET SCHMIDT
  
    Margaret E. (Margie) Schmidt of West Mifflin, Pa., died in New
  Orleans, La., on November 12, 1994 after an extended illness.
    Born Feb. 9, 1921 in Meyersdale, she was a daughter of Jennie and
  George D. Hady of Meyersdale.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, H. William Schmidt of
  West Mifflin, and parents.
    She is survived by a son, William F. Schmidt, a daughter-in-law Joy
  and grandson Tyson of Mauero, La.; a sister, Lois Smith of Berlin;
  nephew George and wife Sheila Smith and their children: Shannon,
  Eric, George and Ashley Smith of Berlin; an aunt, Miss Dorothy Walter
  of Johnstown; and uncle James Hady of Phoenix, Ariz.
    She attended St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing in Pittsburgh,
  graduating as a registered nurse.  She retired from Jefferson
  Hospital, Pittsburgh, as a supervisor of the operating rooms.
    She was a member of the Lutheran Church.
    Friends were received Nov. 14 and services were held Nov. 15 at the
  Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home of Pittsburgh.  Interment, Jefferson
  Memorial Park, Pittsburgh.
