Schminkey, 74, died March 11, 1981, at Somerset Community Hospital. Born Sept. 9, 1906, in Pittsburgh, son of the late Conrad and Ella (Hepler) Schminkey. Preceded in death by his wife, Arles (Detrick) Schminkey. Survived by a son, Frederic Earl of Somerset; two grandchildren, Eric Earl and Marc David; and two nieces, Dorothy Ruffo and Lorraine Ewing, both of Pittsburgh. Member of Brighton Road United Presbyterian Church; Davage Lodge No. 374 F and AM; a charter member of Kappa Psi; former president of the Allegheny County Pharmacy Association; the NARD (National Association of Retail Druggists); Pennsylvania Pharmaceutical Association. He was owner of McConaghy's Pharmacy, Pittsburgh, and a veteran of World War II. Visitation, Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Sunday, 12-3 and 7-9 p.m. at the Orion C.
