"Zeke" Schneider, 63, Central City, went home to be with the Lord on Oct. 26, 2003, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Sept. 16, 1940, in Gaines, Pa., son of Charles and Matilda (Gwetheth) Schneider. Preceded in death by parents; an infant daughter; daughter Candy Schneider; sister Matilda McBride and half-brother, Larry Schneider. Survived by wife of 42 years, former Diane M. Beckwith; children: Linda S. married to Rev. David A. Brady, Central City, Carol J., married to Rev. David A. Lee, Armagh, and Joseph R. married to former Diana L. Albertson, Mahaffey, Pa.; grandchildren: Joshua, Joanna, Josiah, Joseph, Johnathan, Jeffrey, Jordan, Heather and Ezekiel; brothers: Robert, Raymond, Eli and Frank Schneider; half-brother, Billy Schneider; sister, Dorothy Unverdorhen and half-sisters, Nancy, Flossie and Bonnie. Also numerous nieces and nephews. Graduate of King's Way Language School for Spanish. Associate minister for Central City Full Gospel Church. An ordained Pentecostal minister, having pastored at Gem City, Revival Center, Erie; Full Gospel Lighthouse, Punxsutawney and Gospel Lighthouse, Patton. Missionary to Mexico for nine years. Former principal for A.C.E. Christian School, Mahaffey, for seven years. Former teacher for Mount Calvary Bible Institute, Mahaffey, for six years. He enjoyed taking his grandchildren and other children camping and hiking. Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at New Beginnings Worship Center, Route 30, Ligonier, the Rev. David A. Brady and the Rev. Leonard Eastman officiating. Following cremation, a private interment will be held at a later date at McGregor Cemetery, Cairnbrook. Arrangements by the Hoffman Funeral Homes. In lieu of flowers, donations for mission work may be given to the Rev. George Schneider Memorial Fund c/o Central City Full Gospel Church, 170 Statler St., Central City, Pa. 15926.
