  CHARLES H. SCHRADEL
  
    Charles H. Schradel, 81, of Friedens RD 2, died Jan. 9, 1983, at
  Little Forest Medical Center, Akron, Ohio.  He was born Aug. 9, 1901,
  in Meyersdale, a son of the late John and Minnie (Hanning) Scradel.
    He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace, in 1971; and a
  brother, Homer.
    He is survived by three children: Mrs. Harold (Eleanore) Baldwin,
  Baltimore, Md.; Mrs. Harold (Wilma) Kimmel, Friedens RD 1; and Robert
  Schradel, Tallmadge, Ohio; eight grandchildren and one
  great-granddaughter.  He was the brother of Fred Schradel, of
  Barnesville, Ohio; Mrs. Emma Merrbach and Robert Scradel, both of
  Meyersdale.  He was a member of Stoystown United Church of Christ; a
  retired of the UMWA; also retired from the Somerset State Hospital.
    Friends were received at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, where
  funeral services were conducted with the Rev. Jeffrey Welsh
  officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
