  DONALD E. SCHRADEL
  
    Donald E. Schradel, 44, of 903 Park. St., Beverly, Ohio, formerly
  of Cambridge, Ohio, was killed Saturday afternoon (June 28, 1980) in
  a tree-cutting accident in Waterford Twp., Washington County.
    He was born March 26, 1936, in Meyersdale, son of Fred and
  Elizabeth Hillegas Scradel of Barnesville, Ohio.  He was a service
  director for the General Telephone Co. at Beverly and had worked for
  the company 13 years.
    He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was a member of Beverly
  United Methodist Church, Beverly Lions Club, the Elks Club of
  Marietta and Cambridge Masonic Lodge 66, F.&AM.  He was a former
  member of Beverly Volunteer Fire Department. 
    In addition to his parents, he leaves his wife, Mary Louise Hixson
  Schradel, whom he married Dec. 18, 1955; a son, Paul and a daughter,
  Mary Ann, both at home; a brother, John of Barnesville; two sisters,
  Mrs. George (Karen) Finch of Grove City and Mrs. Oliver (Marjorie)
  Jones of Barnesville; and a number of nieces and nephews.
    Friends were received at the Thorn Funeral Home where services were
  held with the Rev. John Stiltz officiating.  Friends and relatives in
  the Meyersdale area attended the funeral service.  Interment will be
  in Friends Cemetery, Quaker City, Ohio.
