Schrader Jr., 54, of 1019 Lititz Ave., Lancaster, died March 28, 1983, at Lancaster General Hospital after a brief illness. He was the husband of Norma (Walters) Schrader, and was born in Somerset County, a son of the late John C. and Mabel (Snyder) Schrader Sr. He had lived in Lancaster since 1959. He worked at DeWalt Division of Black and Decker from 1966 to the present time as a casting machine operator. He attended Faith Bible Fellowship Church and was also a member of the Rainmakers. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Served during the Korean Conflict in Germany. In addition to his wife, he is survived by: three sisters, Edna May, wife of James Phillippi, Rockwood; Ruth, wife of Homer Brant, Johnstown; and Mary Ellen, wife of Carl G. Baker of Somerset; one brother, Glenn A. Schrader of Somerset; two step-daughters: Noreen E. Walters and Terrel L. Pott, both of Lancaster; one stepson, Randall D. Pott of Los Angeles, Calif.; two stepgrandchildren. Service will be Thursday at the Fred F. Groff Inc. Funeral Home, 234 West Orange St., Lancaster, with the Rev. David A. Thomann officiating. Interment, Greenwood Cemetery, Lancaster. Viewing at the funeral home Wednesday 7-9 p.m. The Republic, March 31, 1983 [S0472]
