    Evelyn E. Schreffler, 93, Somerset, formerly of Kimmelton, died May 6, 2006 at Somerset
  Hospital. Born Dec. 3, 1912 in Kimmelton, daughter of Daniel and Orpha (Hoffman)
  Escherich. Preceded in death by parents; husband Charles R. "Bob;" brothers, Albert and
  William Escherich; and sisters, Helen Wheeler and Martha Wentz. Survived by sons, Fred,
  married to the former Joan Hilliard of Somerset and Robert, Stoystown; grand-children,
  Melissa Ohler and Charlene Geiger; great-grandchildren, Jonathan and Amanda Ohler, and
  Austin Geiger; and a sister, Faye, married to Andrew Matse, Stoystown. A graduate of
  Somerset High School and a member of Mostoller United Methodist Church, Kimmelton. Family
  will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Deaner Funeral Home,
  Stoystown, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. James Hamilton
  officiating. Interment, Odd Fellows Cemetery, Stoystown. In lieu of flowers,
  contributions may be given to Mostoller U.M. Church, Pompey Hill Rd., Stoystown, Pa.
