Schriver, 75, formerly of 133 Grand Avenue, and more recently a patient at the Allegany County Nursing Home, died Thursday, Sept. 10, 1987, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md. Born July 14, 1912, at Rockwood, she was the daughter of the late William W. and Grace Edith (Myers) Sterner. Her husband was the late Francis H. Schriver. She was a member of the First Church of the Brethren, the Cumberland Senior Citizens and the 500 Club. She was a 1931 graduate of Pennsylvania Avenue High School and Catherman's Business School. Surviving are one son, F. Harold Schriver, Easton, Md.; one daughter, Mrs. Nancy C. Dressman, LaVale, Md.; one brother, John Sterner, Keyser, W.Va.; two sisters, Mrs. Mildred McMillan and Mrs. Eleanor Proudfoot, both of Cumberland, Md. and six grandchildren. Friends were received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, Virginia Avenue where services were conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday by the Rev. E. Dwight Byrne. Interment, Davis Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers were Brian Schriver, Brent Dressman, Francis Fabbri, Joseph Fabbri, James Ricker and James Thomas. The Republic, September 17, 1987 [S0484]
