Born Oct. 17, 1941 in Somerset, son of Ray Charles and Freda Elizabeth (Dailey) Schrock. Preceded in death by his father, first wife Patsy Arlene (Beckner) Schrock and daughter Kristine Beth Schrock. Survived by loving and devoted wife, the former Joyce Ann (Boyer) Ditzler-Schrock, and children, Mrs. Michael (Tami) Sube of Somerset, Mrs. Steve (Tanya) Witt of Somerset, Mrs. Paul (Jaime) Springer of Stoystown and Jeffrey J. Ditzler of Stoystown. Grandfather of Evan, Isabel and Claire Sube. Brother of Dale Schrock and wife Patricia of Bakersville. Member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church. A 1959 graduate of Somerset High School. Vietnam veteran of U.S. Army. Life member of VFW Post 554. Member of American Legion Post 257 of Stoystown, FOE Aerie 1801, and Loyal Order of Moose 2247 of Herndon, Va., Lineman for Penelec, retiring in 1996 with 30 years of service. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset. Viewing from 12 to 1 p.m. the time of service Wednesday, at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Bakersville.
