She was born in Stonycreek Township May 5, 1866, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Fritz. She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Estella Bowman, St. Paul, Indiana; Mrs. Jennie Lehman and Harper Schrock, both of Rockingham; Mrs. Hulda Stewart, Derry; Mrs. Cora Stull, Windber, R.D. 1; George, at home; William at Denton, Md.; Corporal Milton Schrock, Chaffee, Arkansas. One daughter is dead. There are 19 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Corp. Schrock had just been home on leave and returned to Arkansas when his mother died. A grandson, Corp. Clarence Stewart is a gunner on a Flying Fortress and now is in a base hospital suffering wounds in active service in New Guinea. He also was wounded previously in a battle at Hawaii. The funeral was held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Schrock home, with Rev. W. R. Fisher, pastor, United Brethren Church, officiating. Burial in the Walker Cemetery at Shanksville under the direction of J. H. Deaner, mortician. Meyersdale Republican, April 22, 1943
