Born Oct. 14, 1911, at Meyersdale, son of the late Perry and Elizabeth Pugh Schrock. Married Frances Tucker Horseman Sept. 19, 1974. Transferred to Cairo from Pennsylvania and retired from Ithaca Mfg. Co. He was a designer. Served in the U.S. Navy and Merchant Marines. He was a Mason, Shriner and Kiwanian. Member of First United Methodist Church, Cairo. Survived by wife, Frances Schrock, Cairo, Ga.; daughter, Mary Lou Knight, Newnan, Ga.; stepdaughter, Lisa Joyner, Forest, Va.; stepson: Robert Horseman, Augusta, Ga.; 2 brothers: Homer Schrock, Salisbury, and Harry Schrock, Meyersdale, and a sister: Grace Brumbaugh, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.; granddaughter, Elizabeth Ann Knight, Newnan, Ga.; step-grandchildren: John Horseman Joyner, Matthew McFaniel Joyner, Andrew Walton Joyner, Robert Todd Horseman, Robert Shawn Horseman, Kimberly Dawn Mullins, Natalie Brooke Horseman and survived by a number of relatives in Meyersdale and Somerset. The funeral service was at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 19, 1993, at First United Methodist Church, Cairo. Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, Ga. officiated. Internment [sic], Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo.
