  SCHROCK
  
  Garland E. Schrock, 56, of Somerset RD 1 died May 29, 1974, in
  Somerset Community Hospital.  He was born Oct. 12, 1917, in Black
  Township, a son of the late Austin G. and Emma Susan (Bittner)
  Schrock.  He was also preceded in death by a brother and a sister. 
  Survived by his widow, the former Martha Sible; these children: Mrs.
  Allen (Shirley) Constantine, Clarksville, Md.; Mrs. William (Betty)
  Brown of Penn, Pa.; Edward of Somerset RD 4; and Mrs. Robert
  (Patricia) Bell of Somerset; six grandchildren.  He was a brother of:
  Harry G., and Mrs. Elmer Snyder, both of Rockwood RD 1; Mrs. Kenneth
  Stoy, Somerset RD 1; Mrs. Irbin Stahl, Somerset; and Mahlon of Berlin
  RD 4.  He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the D.A.V. 
  Friends are being received in the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home,
  where service will be conducted Friday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev.
  James Vandervort officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial
  Park.
