Schrock, 85, Eighty Four, Washington County, formerly of Somerset, died Sept. 18, 1997, in South Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born Aug. 6, 1912, in Somerset, son of the late Meyers Schrock and Ollie (Yoder) Schrock. Preceded in death by his first wife, Victoria Adams, who passed away in 1947; five brothers, two sisters and three great-grandchildren. Survived by his wife of 25 years, Dorothy (Schweitzer) Schrock; two sons: Ronald and Barry; three daughters, Lana, Vicki and Nellie; one brother, Paul; two sisters: Mary and Adeline; 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He worked as a clerk for the U.S. Postal Service in Pittsburgh until he retired in 1978. Graduated from Somerset High School, served in the U.S. Army during World War II, where he received a Purple Heart. He was a Presbyterian by faith. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
