  SCHROCK
  
    Hiram W. Schrock, 80, of Berlin RD 4, died Dec. 16, 1989 at
  Somerset Hospital.  Born Feb. 22, 1909 in Summit Township, son of
  Joseph and Verna (Knepper) Schrock.  Preceded in death by parents;
  son, Eugene; daughter, Betty May; sisters Stella Schrock and Goldie
  Kinnear.  Survived by wife of 61 years, the former Marie Hauger; son
  James, married to the former Freda Bittinger, of Cheswick; eight
  grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.  Brother of Dalton, of
  Meyersdale.  Retired from the Croner Coal Co.  Member of the
  Beachdale Church of the Brethren.  Family will receive friends from
  2-4 p.m. and from 7-9 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin,
  where service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, the Rev. Wilbur
  Fischer officiating.  Interment Union Cemetery Meyersdale.
