Born July 14, 1900 in Milford Township. She was the daughter of John Charles and Lola Emma (Bruner) Ankney. Preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; Bessie Barron, Inez Bowlby, and Loita Kimmel-Stahr. Survived by several nieces and nephews including Loris I. Bowlby, Somerset, and sister, Mrs. Osra Zeunges of Oxford, Mich. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and graduate of California Normal School. She was employed by JC Penny Company, Somerset store retiring in 1964 with 25 years of service. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Robert L. Hoover Jr. officiating.
