Schrock, 71, died Thursday, Dec. 26, at his home in Trans-Meyersdale, following a prolonged illness. He was a carpenter by trade and member of Main Street Brethren Church, and Modern Woodmen of America. He was born in 1875, a son of Jonathan and Polly (Judy) Schrock of Rockwood. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Netti (Landis) Schrock and the following children: Mrs. Harvey Mason of Connellsville; Mrs. Irvin Shaffer, Meyersdale; Mrs. Elwood Engle, Detroit, Mich.; Mrs. James Kling, at home; James Schrock, Cumberland, Md., and Clarence Schrock, Canton, Ohio. He also leaves six grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Bruce and Harvey Schrock, both of Rockwood. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, in the Main Street Brethren Church, by the pastor, Rev. Gerald Polman. Interment in the Union Cemetery under the direction of H. R. Konhaus.
