Schrock, 86, of Somerset, died Dec. 11, 1988 at Somerset Community Hospital. Born June 28, 1902 in Gephartsville. He is the son of the late George N. and Cora (Weller) Schrock. Also preceded in death by a son John (Jack). He is survived by: his wife, the former Julia E. Spangler; and daughter Mrs. James G. (Nancy) Knepper Sr., of Somerset; grandchildren: Mrs. Charles (Kathryn) Mitchell, James G. Knepper Jr., both of Somerset; and John N. Schrock, Jr., of Harrisburg; and four great-grandchildren. He was a brother of Mrs. John A. (Maude) Hastie, of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. He was the former owner of Schrock's Transfer and Storage and former owner and auctioneer for Schrock's Auction Sales for 50 years. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and Sunday School teacher for the Chapel Class. Former Mayor of Somerset Borough. Member of the Sons of the American Revolution; the B.P.O. Elks of Somerset; and F.O.E. Aerie 1801 of Somerset. Friends received from 2-5 p.m. Tuesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home where private services will be held Wednesday. Rev. H.
