    L. Allen "Bud" Schrock, 85, Springs Road, Springs, died Nov. 8, 2006, at Meyersdale
  Medical Center, Meyersdale. Born June 8, 1921, in Grantsville, Md., he was the son of the
  late Alvin and Amelia (Miller) Schrock. Mr. Schrock is preceded in death by his first
  wife, Mary (Kolb) Schrock; four sisters, Alta Schrock, Emma Kinsinger, Beulah May Schrock
  and Anna Catherine Schrock. Surviving are his wife Bernice (Kolb) Schrock; son, Randy
  Schrock and wife, Ellen, Springs; daughter, Margie Short, Salisbury; sisters, Naomi Green
  Sigler, Orpha Schrader, Ada Schrock and Elnora Schrock, all of Salisbury; Evelyn Kaufman,
  Mound Ridge, Kan.; four grandchildren, Jennifer Haning, Melissa McKenzie, Tim Schrock and
  Samantha Schrock; and five great-grandchildren, Tiffany, Morgan and Scott Haning And
  Kaylyn and Madison McKenzie. Mr. Schrock was the retired owner and operator of Schrock's
  Feed, Springs and a member of the Springs Mennonite Church. A memorial service will be
  held on 11 a.m. Saturday at the Springs Mennonite Church. The Rev. John Kraybill and the
  Rev. Owen Guengerich officiating. Interment will be private. Expressions of sympathy may
  be directed to the Mennonite Central Committee or Western PA Association for the Blind.
