SCHROCK Mrs. Lydia (Stevanus) Keim Schrock, 79, of Farmington, Del., died May 19, 1949, at the home of her step-son, Eli Schrock. She had been in bed for several weeks. She was the daughter of John and Elizabeth (Yoder) Stevanus, and was born in Somerset County, June 26, 1896, the last of a family of 24 children. She was a half-sister of Mrs. Tillie Summy who passed away a few years ago at the age of 100 years. She was married twice; first to Nathan W. Keim, who died March 5, 1923, and later to Christian Schrock, who died March 24, 1949. She lived with her first husband in the vicinity of Springs, Pa., until 1910 when they moved with their family to Fentress, Va. They were the parents of eight children. Two sons, Lawrence and William, preceded her in death. She is survived by five daughters - Mrs. Mary A. Lepley, Meyersdale; Mrs. Mabel Tennefoss, Fentress, Va.; Mrs. Ida Cain, Norfolk, Va.; Mrs. Amanda Gilbert, Portsmouth, Va., and Mrs. Stella Hoyle, Cumberland, Md.; by 34 grandchildren, and by two step-daughters and four step-sons, 31 step-grandchildren and one great grandchild, and a host of nephews and nieces and other relatives. Funeral services were conducted in the Greenwood, Del., Amish Church, where she was a member, on Saturday morning, May 21, after which the body was taken to Fentress, Va., to the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Tennefoss. On Saturday afternoon funeral services were held in the Mt. Pleasant Mennonite Church with burial in the cemetery adjoining. Funeral services were under the direction of Mrs. K. W.
