MARY ANN SCHROCK

  Mrs. Mary Ann (Miller) Schrock, aged 87, widow of Jacob E. Schrock, died at 
12:30 o'clock Saturday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Elmer Deaner, 
Kantner, with whom she had resided the past two years.  The aged woman had been 
ill nearly four years.
  Mrs. Schrock was born March 21, 1853, in New Centerville.  She was the mother 
of 12 children, four of whom are living as follows: Ross and Bruce Schrock, 
Glencoe; Bertha, wife of Homer Shumaker, Somerset, and Lottie, wife of Elmer 
Deaner, at whose home she died.  Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Ida Garietty, 
Brownsville; 20 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
  Funeral services were conducted at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Deaner 
home.  Interment was in the Union Cemetery, Meyersdale.
