She was born July 17, 1895, in Brothersvalley Township, daughter of the late William H. and Minerva (Hay) Fritz. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl A.; a son, Earl R.; eight brothers and four sisters. She is survived by two children: William of Rockville, Md.; and Mrs. Pauline Harrigan, Forest Hills, Pittsburgh; six grandchildren; one great-grandson. A member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Forbes Road Chapter DAR, past matron of O.E.S., past noble grand of Rebekah Lodge No. 217, past president of the District Deputy Presidents of Pennsylvania, Somerset Grange No. 1697, Daughters of America. She was a former school teacher and retired caseworker of the Department of Public Welfare of Somerset County. Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home where service will be conducted Tuesday at 1:30 p.m., the Rev. H. James Meyers officiating. Interment, Husband Cemetery.
